*edit* I saw Billy Talent back in '04 when Metric and Death From Above were the supporting acts. I went for the openers, not expecting much from Billy Talent. They surprised me. Big time.

Billy Talent play stadiums in Canada and a few countries in Europe. So when I saw them on the second to last line on Saturday I was like... "WTF?"

With that being said, Billy Talent are one of the acts I am most looking forward to on Saturday. They are a blast live. So full of energy, and the lead singer Benjamin and his onstage antics remind me a lot of Iggy Pop. When I saw them back in 2004 they actually blew the sound system. It was a ton of fun.

Billy Talent are a "they." Their name is taken from a character in a Canadian movie called Hardcore Logo.

I think many people overlook Billy Talent. They are awesome live and have opened up for the Buzzcocks.
