Don't bro me, you frayed hat, thong wearing (ass and foot) toolshed.
I could be wrong, but they probably have one key per locker and if you lose it, they still have a secret owners way of opening it without it so you can get your stuff. I doubt they have two of every key on hand since when you get your key you're taking it out of the locker anyway.
Of course, you could always just ask them.
lockerchella sucks. travel light or you don't know how to festIVE
I brought in a bunch of frozen bottles last year and stored them in my locker to save on paying for water.
1) How do you guys sneak in things like water bottles? I've snucken in quite a few greenery in my day but food and drink is usually G14 classified to security.
2) For anyone who did it last year, let's say I leave Coachella 20 minutes before it's over Sunday will there be a huge line?
Hi there, I'm sorry I didn't read the entire thread... but are the lockers quite safe? We're traveling from overseas and wanting to stick our travel documents in there..
The lockers are fairly safe. I believe someone in this thread mentioned getting their stuff stolen from their locker but I think that's very rare. I'm sure it's safer than keeping it in your tent (assuming you're camping).
yayyy just got my locker!!!
oh shit, I haven't yet.
I'll do it tomorrow first thing.
Are the lockers sold out? I put it off until just now and when I click the link it asks me to enter login information?
Alright, to answer my own question: No, they are not sold out.
Not sure what the deal was(I tried it on a couple different computers) but I left it alone for a while and when I went back it loaded right up. Phwewww :-)
I got me a medium. Thanks for helping...
I'm going only Friday. If we get a locker for our jackets and turn in the key upon retrieval in the early evening (before its over) there shouldn't be much of a line should there? to get what we've got coming to us![]()
Lockers are on sale for 2010
http://lockersonline.com/reserve.html
With the ins and outs this year I dont think ill be getting a locker.
Car-lockers FTW!
Why would you steal my one shirt and the bag of dumdums I keep in my car?
more importantly, why would you steal the bag of dumdums I keep in my car?!
ARE YOU HEARTLESS, WOMAN?!?!?!
Can you imagine though...
you're at the Sahara (or the Main Stage for that matter), and suddenly you need something.. but instead of walking aaaalllll the way to the lockers, you instead have to walk aaaaaalllll the way to camping.. and then find your tent/car and walk aaaalllll the way back? It just eats up more time than necessary.
This was our thought and why we will ultimately still get a locker this year.
But ins and outs are still fantastic! If there's someone we want to see at noon, but then no one after that til say, 4 (?).. we don't HAVE to stay in the venue.
Well, I reserved my locker in October, so no, if you're taking into account dorks like me.
I was so smug last year when the lockers were all sold out and people were bummed. I think I even had my eyes closed when I asked my guy if he was still laughing at me for reserving one so early. ha
After they started having lockers in 07 I never wanted to carry a backpack again.
I can't handle having a backpack either. such a hassle.
plus if you bring a backpack, you're automatically the designated mule for all your friends shit. no thanks!
Two to three water bottles, celly's, wallets, a lighter or two, and some sunscreen.
Not that much to handle, but then again im not a woosy.
All this talk about Coachella logistics is getting me excited, and not even a line-up yet. Wish I was packing to go now!!
I think we're riding bikes, not driving, so I'm getting a locker. Unless you're storing vinyl or a lot of posters, you only need a small one. About five of us share one every year and it's always been big enough.
