layaway ticket for international buyers???

Is the option for layaway only available to US Residents (as I suppose it is) or is it open for international buyers also?, I would like to know because it will make a great deal to some friends who are uncertain to come this year.

So please if some one in the know can answer it will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

When you go to sign-up for the "My Coachella Account" you can only choose from American states when entering your info.

If I were to just put in any state, and a random zipcode, could that potentially screw things up in the shipping/billing stages?

Through randomly clicking away I have found this:

I'll let the rest of you International "I Wanna Pay by Layaway" folks know if it doesn't work, but I assume that's the answer we were searching for... unless there's an easier way.

Haha, no I called. It connects you directly to AEG live. The lady who first answered connected me to someone else, and I got her voicemail... so I left one with my name and number. Bets on whether or not they actually call back?

Thanks, hope it gets resolved soon, as I encountered a similar issue as Knapptime, where I only get USA as country (not able to change it) and can only select from US States, I also got to the Phone Number part that also has the option to send a email to some representative, so I did.

But if its going to get as easy as selecting my country I will be a happy buyer.

Please psychic friend let us know when this gets resolved, thanks in advance.

So here is were I'm stuck (see picture)

I can't change country to Mexico so all my info is correct, I want to buy with the layaway (if possible), and don't want any strange things along the way.

If its not possible to buy them with this option I'll have to buy them the regular way (upfront and will call or ticket fast) but would really help to get them in payments so i can convince more friends to come.

Ok, so we need a "Coachella Account Manager Account" to buy layaway tickets, but the registration form is only set up for US residents. (As the previous posters have mentioned).

Did anyone try the customer service number today?

Actually that is what I finally did 3-3day+camping... at about $120 a day each after the damn charges it really is a steal for the best 4 days of the year.

I would suspect it is US residents only! The transaction fee's on non-US residents credit/debit cards are higher-you have three transaction fee's with layaway.
Also exchange rate fluctuations would need to be factored in.

Well I would suppose the exact same thing, but psychic friend here has said before is open for all, so most of us have faith it would be resolved (would help convince more to come for sure), also the exchange rate would not affect a bit on the layaway, because you commit to make the payments in US currency on the dates indicated, so no mater whats the exchange on that time you still pay (get charged) in US dollars, even though I would see an issue if the exchange suddenly sky rockets from payment to payment (in that case I would really recommend paying upfront).

As for the transaction fee it depends from bank to bank, as it wouldn't be the hefty ticketmaster fee 3 times, but the fee applied by the bank to make 3 international transactions, in my case thats about 2 dlls, so I don't see a real problem there also.

Apparently tm is in fact not set up to take international orders via layaway as we were previously told.

So, If you are not USA and you want to do layaway, please email info@coachella.com with lawaway in the subject line and we will facilitate your order manually.
