Yeah... it's pretty farfetched that they would join the ranks of Jack Johnson and Bjork on that elite list of Friday Coachella headliners... I mean... they've only headlined Friday night at Glastonbury... and that was before their 4th album came out.

Dude, we got the point... at least I did. I second you on that. BUT don't you dare to bring Björk to JJ or KOL level... she's far, faaar beyond. I love the Kings and I also think they could be a friday headlining material, but c'mon... it was a bit drastic what you said.

I wonder if there is any stipulations in the artist contracts when they get to this size of an act, that they can only play either Bonnaroo or Coachella and not both, as they could lose out on sales to competing tickets. If so, they'll be at Bonnaroo obviously and not Coachella. It's common practice to say you can't play in the area for a month or whatever prior to and following some shows... so I'm curious if there is such a clause in some of the higher profile acts contracts.

Bjork already headlined a Saturday in the past.

Not many "Bros" from LA wanted to see Bjork on Friday in 2007.....but they sure were pumped for Guerilla Radio!!!

I ran into a couple of the guys in the band randomly at Bonnaroo last year and asked why they weren't playing and they said they never miss the festival, whether they play it or are just observing, and that they'd probably play this year. But that was a year ago, and certainly doesn't make them a lock, and could be taken for what its worth.

And yes, I know they could play both, lots of people do, but when an act gets to a certain level I wonder if such a clause would be added, just curiousity really.
