Agreed. GV needs to say something. Some people live across oceans and need to make plans.

Hmmmm....I would say im getting a bit bitter too. I've spent too much time checking and re-checking this message board. But I'm sure Paul and his team know that we're getting anxious. That is why they're working hard and their first priority is to get the lineup straightened out. Until then...patience.

At this point, I'll take any kind of bone they are willing to throw.

    Good post.

I read only the first paragraph and what was in bold. And I agree, an announcement would be cool.

I dig announcements, and I'm looking at you, COACHELLA...

Great post! Very intelligently argued, unlike many of the other posts circulating around here at the moment. If nothing more I agree 100% that there should be some sort of word from GV.

Seriously, if a "sorry we are working our hardest, the line up will arrive as soon as it's ready" appeared on the homepage I would be a lot happier. I know that this is the case, but i want to hear it from their mouths instead of the 100 blogs out there which I cannot trust.

They're negotiating with Michael Jackson. I think they want him to headline.

You all know that they aren't going to finish an explanation for anything before they give the announcement on everything... minus add ons. and shit.. not being apologetic for GV, but if I was there, I'd do my fucking job because....

THEY KNOW WE WANT A DAMN LIST

a good mass of us are already there. But it is imperative that they sell out to the turds, so its coming. i'm just as frustrated as anyone, i just have really... REALLY.... good weed. I'm talking fith element super green.

The undercard is everything... end of story. without that, no headliner would be worth a three day pass

Like everyone else that's posted before me, I agree with Amneeziac. My excitement level was pretty high on Monday night, like everyone else's. Then Tuesday came and went without anything, and... I kind of stopped caring for the time being.

I can hear the moderator/someone with over 1,000 posts now: "Dude that's your problem, if you can't deal with it GV is god." Really all I, and many other people are asking for, is this:

Write a couple sentences on the home page. Really, it's not asking for much. But people get bitter and grumpy when they feel like they're being ignored. When someone is ignoring me, I go talk to someone else. Don't let that happen with Coachella please.
It's one thing to not release the lineup; I can be patient for that. It's another to announce through a radio station that you are releasing the lineup, then fail to without any explanation. Two sentences, thanks.

the statement is: THE LINEUP ISN'T OUT YET

This post says the same thing all the other posts say, only longer. Wait for the line-up.

Great thread. I couldn't agree more. I cannot believe that GV would let it get this far. They have to know what is being said on the boards. They have to know that people are upset. And truthfully, if they wouldn't have offered such a superb product so consistently over the years, none of us would care. But we do. They need to make a decision and set a drop dead date for the lineup. If their primadonna act(s) can't sign on the line by that date, release the lineup without them. Period. *sigh*

Truth. Additions are exciting, anyway. Suppose the diva acts never sign, then what?

Let me explain this. Coachella has been announcing the lineup in January for the past several years. We are still in January. You were never told by goldenvoice a specific lineup release date. You haven't been cheated and you are owed zero explanation. No one is dissing you. No one is deleting your post. You haven't paid any money or recieved a faulty product. you haven't been lied to and you haven't been cheated.
