Thread: Bowie or Radiohead will be there

  1. #1

Default Bowie or Radiohead will be there

So given how everything is taking so long

    and

an e-mail from Goldenvoice last night told me to get ready to be "blown away" by the line-up

I'm going to go out on a limb and say FORGET everything you've heard leading up to this point, either Bowie or Radiohead (the most requested acts) are going to end up on the bill. We will all rejoice and think "damn, we didn't see this coming". Just like every year.

When people tell me to be prepared to be blown away I usually brace to be underwhelmed.

    But we shall see...

    the mail sez...

"We've also been preparing to announce the anticipated Coachella lineup that's got all of you, bloggers, and pretty much the whole internet spazzing out. Don't believe anything or anyone until you've heard it straight from us! Do however, get ready to save that mullah and be blown away. You can follow Coachella's tweets here. "

well, U2's music was strongly featured in the movie "Blown Away". It has to be U2!! haha

If the headliners were Kings of Leon, The Killers, and Britney Spears, you'd still have an email from them saying that you'll be "blown away"
    *based upon tedious fact checking.

Well if it is U2 like some of you are speculating, then the delay would probably involve striking a deal with Live Nation who (once again) have a 12-year agreement with U2.

we're probably wrong about U2....but this theory would make sense.

of course it could be that a headliner had to back out plain and simple. or maybe they are trying to convince Bowie or Michael Jackson.
