Yeah something seems pretty trippy about this. I know PT said in Rolling Stone that they're really holding back big name acts but shit. Is it THAT hard to get at least a DECENT line up timely? It doesn't effect me so much but there are people who still need book things but dont want to waste the money on a shitty line up

I would go based on the previous years lineups. I've been to about 70% of Coachellas past, and every single time I've had a killer time. SO why wouldn't Surprisechella be rockin... It'd be even more rockin to have like Bowie just march up to center stage ... but that won't happen, sadly... as a Bowie performance would really be such big news that it'd be silly to make it a surprise-- though for my personal effect, the high I'd get off of that would be incredible.

Think realistically about how much fun you have at Coachella. The lineup would have to be HORRENDOUS for it to suck. Even if a handful of Jack Johnsons make their way onto the lineup, so fucking what you leave a little early or go get a piece of pizza or see someone else during these kinds of bands.

Taking all that into consideration, the fact that it's being postponed is downright scary.

It's da Smiths, methinks. That's what is holding them up. Can't see any other reason now that Macca is a lock. On Monday night, PT told us all via Facebook that it would be a "few more days," so obviously they weren't expecting it would take this long. Just sayin. I don't care much about the Smiths either, (not that I wouldn't be happy about it.)

Yes I have booked shows. No not a show with 100+ bands, but I have organized various shows with multiple bands. One I think with 12 total. So yes I know it is hard to get signatures but if a band's acting like dicks? theyre out. Wouldn't accept the price? They were out... therefore JUSTSTEVE........shut up I do understand what Im talking about. I have all the faith in GV, I'm just stating for people traveling, sooner the better wouldnt you agree?

If they are saying they might not announce the lineup, that decreases listeners tomorrow. Saying it's postponed doesn't make people think "oh, it's not being announced tomorrow? I'm going to listen to KROQ for the first time in two years anyway!" Mindgames are out of the question, it's one thing to fuck with your audience, it's another to lose listeners by what you say.
