    seriously I have no idea where all the hype around this guy came from. Being on some shitty kids soap opera doesnt make you a good rapper/hard.

    I heard he ghost writes for Lil Wayne. I guess that could be the source of the buzz.

    He's a famous actor on some wack show.
    Started doing tracks on his own got a nice buzz.
    Did tracks with Wayne got a bigger buzz.
    Dropped So Far Gone and everyone claimed it to be the best mixtape ever and had Jay, Wayne, Diddy, etc co-signing him. Closed the BET Awards and the Grammies w/ no album out. Nominated with no album out.
    He's just the new "it" guy in hip hop. I can't stand his fans. He makes decent music but god his fans are mega slurpers.
