Booking DJs

Hey, so I've been put in charge of booking an artist/performer for my high school's prom. Since I'm a senior, I get jurisdiction over what genre we book, and since last year we booked The Pack, we're going techno/electronic this year.

Our budget is anywhere from 10-20K.

Does anyone know of DJs/electronic groups who aren't too expensive, open to private events (and high school events, I guess), and preferably near CA?
