If I ever want to or need to leave my desk I have to find someone to cover for me to buzz people in through the front door and answer the phone. It really sucks when I ahve to go pee really bad and everyone is to busy to let me leave for 30 seconds to go pee! GEEZ!

hahahah. i "reception" at/for this automotive supply company. we sell jacks, engine hoists, bottle jacks blah blah blah to costco and autozone. a bunch of places in the mid west.

i bet you don't hate your receptionist paycheck.

And its not that bad. you fuck around all day and answer phone calls and the door.
It only gets shitty when someone is on the phone in a panic saying their shit is broken and they're going to lose millions of dollars if they don't talk to a technician right away.
I also play receptionist from time to time for a manufacturing company.
