I've gone for the last 2 years in a row and I absolutely love Coachella, but if the lineup is going to be Green Day, The Killers, and Coldplay I'm not sure I'm going to make it.

very true....I've been to every Coachella so far, and there are many years when I've completely missed headliners or checked out a couple songs then moved on to watch a ton of other great bands

I skipped last years coachella after several successive years. I just wanted to do something different and try something new. This year I feel recharged to face three days in the coachella sun listening to some bands. Sometimes it is good to take a break and give yourself a fresh perspective next year!

That whole Green day stuff is made up by Scoop probly for the media to get confused and stuff... I forget where the link is but one place quoted Scoop and who knows Scoop could just be like nostradamus and his only connections would be magic or something. Maybe hes not even human :O!??!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!

My airline ticket is already purchased, as is that of my little sister who's coming with this year (she turns 18 on Mar. 31- just old enough to camp). There was never a question.

Yeah, i've been going since 2002 and i've seen, hmm let's see now... a grand total of 6 of the headliners. There's almost always something else to see during the headliners, and the undercard is where it's at anyway.

i go for the whole package. If it were three great headliners and everything else was weak then I wouldn't go, and if the undercard was amazing but the headliners blew, I wouldn't go. I don't ever foresee either happening when it comes to coachella. people are getting worried for nothing. If green day headlines a day, i bet prodigy will be conflicting. it all evens out.

I can't predict any headliners, but i totally predict the usual pattern. When the lineup is announced the boards will blow up with people saying 'this sucks, budgetachella ruined it, gonna miss my first one since 1852, etc' then everyone will research the smaller bands, some nice additions will trickle in, and it will be great ! The smaller acts all day definately make the festival, usually with 5 stages the whole day you are listening to something pretty great

Unfortunately more people than you think... But they usually show up after 6 every festival day. Unfortunately there are still too many people out there that don't broaden their musical horizons beyond what's played on your basic Top 40 station.

And it took 26 posts for someone to ask that question. But there is no way those are the headliners so don't trip until the lineup is released, then you can freak out as you see fit.

I haven't considered it but it is definate for me. Out of work so can't afford it. I was thinking of doing car boots and selling junk on Ebay, but there's no way I'd be able to get the funds to go
