You relocating to LA menik?
Even though I have a scratchy throat and am tired as hell, I'm glowing from this weekend and can't wait to get back to Chicago.
Had a great weekend, my birthday in on Wednesday, and I get to see LCD SS on Saturday night. Good mood, indeed.
There it is...
I'm losing my edge...
What I'd give to be your sex sla..., I mean, intern.
And Amy, I don't think I ever was anti-tinychat? Was I?
Tinychat was anti-Courtney for a wee bit though.
It’s a shame this hasn’t been or needed to be updated in two weeks!!! I am in a great mood. I made it the full two weeks without my cohort at work and didn’t get behind or make a mistake. It gave me 1k in overtime I also did it during the 2nd and 3rd week of not smoking (tomorrow 3 weeks). Yea!!! It is Friday. I could go on but instead I will just ………………

I've been drinking champagne for two hours.
Today some of my coworkers and myself spent our lunchbreak packing up boxes of food for the Second Harvest Food Bank. We managed to pack up nine pallets of food in one hour.

I worked today... for the first time in 3 months.... And I actually loved my day regardless of the few mishaps earlier. Everything is better when you have a job. 1 day down, many to go. Hopefully.
This has seriously been the best 24 hours that I have had in a long time. I feel fucking great.
I just got an e-mail from an editor. I was cherry-picked for a freelance writing gig with a publication that I have been eying for some time.
COURTNEY! I'm so proud of you.
Aw thanks guys. Being able to make rent is definitely a good thing
every month we do a birthday celebration. we used to do one for everyone's birthdays, but in my time here we've grown from 8 to around 100 people, so that's not feasible. instead of giving people cards ON their birthday, we wait until the day before the party to pass out like 5 cards to the department and hope that all 100 people sign this shit. which means no one takes the time to write a personal message at ALL. the cards are generally in a manilla folder with a list of everyone's name. once you sign, you cross of your name and give it to someone else. and whenever you are handed someone a folder with a card, you are scolded not to lose it because that happens a lot. then when you hand a card to someone, you are asked a gazillion questions about "who's card is this?" "don't give it to me!" "i already signed!" even though their name is clearly not crossed out.
i get it, the cards are annoying. but please don't bitch me out; this isn't my idea.
