I just got $150 Christmas bonus (141 after tax). Funny, I didn't get anything last year but earlier today I had jokingly said I was considering getting a job where my son works because he got a $100 bonus, I get back from lunch and get handed a check. SWEET!!!!

That's a really low tax rate.

Only FICA was withheld. I suspect the net was actually $141.53.

I know, I think they may have screwed up, usually with bonus pay you only take home half of the bonus. But I am not pointing that out to them.

I think I might finally go buy myself a smart phone with my extra cash.

I just spent the afternoon at the movies alone. I was the only one in the theater and it was wonderful.

Mainly that I had the whole theatre to myself, although I was pleasantly surprised with the movie. It avoided being predictable which was nice for a change.

I've been hearing really good things about this flick. I plan to try and catch a Matinee next week.

So I have CLEAR internet. Worked decently first few months and the last few months it has sucked. Facebook won't even properly load. Then I got a PS3 recently, couldn't even connect to the PSN at all. As a gamer, this is completely unacceptable. I went into an apeshit rage over the service and the tech support call sessions began.

Called their tech support 3 times for about 30 minutes each the last few days. All 3 were scripted fixes. The last guy told me the network was "Congested". Called him out on bullshit as the service they described when I signed up would never have this problem. Told them they voided their contract and I was switching to Comcast.

Tech rep immediately transferred me to Customer service. This guy handled it well:
Dropped my price from $36/month to $20/month
Upgraded my internet to "unlimited" - usually $45/month
    Gave me two months free.

Now my websites actually load and I can connect to the PSN.

    WIN.

I just got $55 of restitution in the mail from one of the cocksuckers that broke into my apartment. Of course, he still needs to pay me $1495 more dollars, but that will come hopefully in due time.

It's SUPPOSED to be $100 per month... And that was supposed to begin in October. So far, he is $245 behind. At least it's $55. Hey, that will pay for supplies for when I get a cat.

What did he steal, what damages were there? The fact that he is in charge of how much to send to you is a joke.

I imagine after wading through a sea of tempurpedic foam and shit ton of feathers, I'd be pissed off about those 8 disposable razors too. (Sorry)
Its like the Infinite Monkey Theorem, if you put X amount of monkeys in a room with a typewriter and ask them to give you Shakespeare 99% of them will fling their shit at you while the other 1% will masturbate in the corner.

Just got word that i'll be coming into some money (which is always a good thing), but that isn't the good news. The part that's got me in a giddy mood is that now, I'll be able to do coachella & another festival! Aweshome!!!
