    I'm ridiculously happy today. The sun is shining, I get to try out a new restaurant I've been dying to go tonight, I have tomorrow off, I just found out there's going to be an ice skating rink installed at the park by my house at the beginning of next month...Everything is good. Which is so rare.

    Working at a very nice bead and jewelry supply store, which is pretty much the same thing I was doing in Eugene. It's a combination of retail and production/repairs and requires a sort of weird set of qualifications, so it was really fortuitous timing. They have a metal studio on site, which I'm excited about.

    I just was looking at what I owe for school next semester, and I when I opened it up I find out I was awarded an 800$ bursary that I haven't been told about yet. This is the first monetary award I have ever been given so I am in a great mood!

    I love today. Had a kick ass workout this morning where I beat my personal record for pushups, had an entire line of picketer/protestor guys on the road turn around and flirt with me as I was walking to work, and now I'm listening to Dusk At Cubist Castle. I had a friend from grade school who I haven't spoken to for 20+ years (!) contact me on Facebook, and I am going to my favorite restaurants with one of my favorite people for lunch today.

    PLUS, I am going to go get a new pet from the humane society tonight as part of their foster home program. YAY!
