She probably like, turned at a stop sign instead of driving straight past one. Thrilling shit, I'm sure.

Isn't that like going to a store to buy a $5 item and saying you'll pay $10? Guess the extra 5k means they won't take no for an answer.

I was surprised with their counter, but definitely happy with it! having a company that really wants me to work for them and making that kind of commitment before my first day really goes a long way, too.

That's awesome, scenic. If it's the right job for you, you'll still be able to get your Buzzfeed fix in.

I work in IT. this job is a little bit of tier 3 support and a lot of system/network administration for a financial institution.

so was the one that I turned down, but it was for a 911 call center software company and I didn't like the idea of having something like that resting on my shoulders while people's lives could be at stake (I'd rather just have their life's savings instead of their lives ). plus, the one I accepted is paying me over $16k more yearly.

^Let's not speak such falsities please, Al. I have my bad days. Like that one time I had a rubber break- that sure put me in a bad mood!

... afterwards I made sure to always get tubeless tires for my bike.

I wasn't planning on going to Coachella, then a great friend (Amyzzz) decided she couldn't go to and agreed to sell me her ticket this morning.... In the last few hours I have managed to secure a great hotel spot with my sisters group, I have figured out a way to take Friday off at my new job with my new bosses complete approval and might even have someone to ride out with me. I am SOOOOO happy.

    Dear Wesley,

This confirms that we have received your $1500 security deposit, and that your dates of April 9 to April 13, 2015 (5 nights) are officially reserved at xxxx, our home in La Quinta, California.
Not sure how she arrived at 5 nights, but whatevers, it's nice to have things locked up 11 months in advance.
