    I love when I go see a band live and discover another great band opening for them (with the guitarist from one of my favorite bands!). I had a great weekend.

    I used to discover new bands at shows all the time. But now I usually discover new music through the internet. Which is good and bad, in my opinion.

    I don't even get out as much as I'd like and I'm only 25.

    I'm always just so busy with shit during the week, so on weekends I just want to kick back. (Most of the time).

    I definitely know how to get weird when I want to tho.

    i love that too, amy!!! i remember going to see mustard plug i think and another ska band opened up (suburban legends i think) and played under the sea with full brass marching around the club. it was a nice surprise

    life is swell. i'm ahead on homework, slowly getting back into the groove of my job, i danced until 3am this weekend, and my physical health only gets better every day!!!

    Ha, I had the same experience seeing The Aquabats many years ago and Suburban Legends was also there and played the Gummi Bears theme song and everybody in the place went totally fucking bananas. They had cases of bags of gummi bears and by the end of the set the whole floor was covered in sticky goo.

    ha, rad. i'm sure between the gummi bears & marshmallows that venue was a mess! it's kinda funny how venues wised up to the aquabats and you'd start seeing stacks of confiscated marshmallows by the door.

    despite being hungover and not packed yet, i'm in a great mood. hooray for getting out at noon!!!!!!!

    I have had an interesting couple weeks, the jobs going really well and I really love where I am living. My roommate just decided to go to coachella and is making my travel arrangements for a weekend trip to prescott. I get to travel and not make the arrangements.... So fucking awesome. And soon I will have the internet. I am damn near giddy.

    Today I had the best moment of my entire adult working life. It can't be discussed but suffice to say, it looks like I'm going to have a whole new company and couldn't have asked for a better first client. Life is great, for just this one day at least.
