Default Any word on the Replacements?

I heard The Replacements might be reforming for Coachella. I haven't found anything else about it outside of the brief interview with Paul and Tommy (yes, I've used google.) Anyone else hear anything? Thanks

It's that warmth, Tom Wait's Big Time reference aside, that you come to know and love on the internet. Anyways, if the Mats show up, then I'll go. I think if they are on the lineup they'd be there from the start. Not a late addition like Prince.

Chris Mars doesn't want any part in a reunion. Paul and Tommy recorded new Replacements tunes for the best of album that came out last year but Josh Freese played drums for them not Chris Mars. I think it's a bad idea to play shows without Chris. Maybe if GV throws enough money his direction he might reconsider.

Well Chris did sing on the Best of record at least. At least they're on good terms now. As much as I love The Replacements, if it was just Tommy and Paul I dunno....

They did their whole farewell tour without Chris. I don't think I would be willing to give up a chance to see Paul & Tommy together just because Chris has a bug up his ass after all these years. And Josh Freese rules.

When I was 13, 'Don't Tell a Soul' came out. I walked 6 miles to this head shop that sold music because I just had to have it (funny enough, I had to walk there twice because they didn't have it the first time I went there.) I would easily fly across the country to see the Replacements or Paul Westerberg sing Replacements songs.
