It would be super awesome if they were on the lineup. They were really good back in 05. The only reason i had seen them was to get a good spot for Bright Eyes and i'm glad i saw them. I have been a fan ever since. Their latest album is really good.

they'll be there
I can't believe I still haven't seen them. I'd love to be able to redeem myself in the desert (and I think they're a pretty good bet to be there).
They will probably play because they are doing a tour with Ladytron so we will most likely get both of those bands. The last album was pretty horrible they put out but the others are great.
Yes Please. Put them in a tent and make it a sweaty dirty sex-a-thon show!!!!!
***EDIT*** fuck what I just said, give 'em a main stage at night. they deserve it.
Please check out my blog Sleeping is Giving In for some great mixes and other good things!
They've popped up on a couple of rumors lists. But who knows?
I'm hoping for a late night outdoor stage set from the Faint!! i think they r a give in to play, also wouldnt mind seeing ladytron for the first time
I'm a huge Ladytron fan, would love to see them again. I don't know anything about the Faint so where's a good place to start?

Hahaha, you were "only there to get a spot for Bright Eyes?" They SLAY Bright Eyes live in 100 different ways. I was there that year too, I loathe Bright Eyes. My favorite quote when he came onstage after them as I was filing out "this song even inspires me, the uninspirable!" Then he put his arms in his emo hoodie and cried himself into the next song.
Those are good choices to start. I'd say just get Danse Macabre and Wet From Birth, maybe Blank Wave Arcade....Media and Fasciination aren't really good. Fasciination is great live, but that's only because it's the same songs you've already heard on Wet From Birth and Danse Macabre, but not as good.
The Faint are an amazing live act, a must see. Their live show STARTS with Agenda Suicide if that gives you any idea...
I'm down to see them for the fourth time. They've yet to let me down.
Where's Underworld and Mew? Make it happen GV.
ive heard they havent been offered a slot - they are co-headlining a tour with another band this spring which has yet to be announced - so im thinking no to them in '09
love them too - the new album isn't so great imo though...
^^^
haha - u always make me really lol
first band I ever liked, first band I ever saw live. I don't listen to them much anymore but they will always have a special place in my heart.
I missed them a few months back, so I'm definitely down. A late Saturday night set in the Sahara would work.

The Faint are one of the coolest bands ever they were on tour with No Doubt in 2002 and I wanted to meet them and they heard it was my birthday a couple of days before the show I get a phone call from Todd Baechle the singer(ne' Todd Fink he changed his name to his wifes surname after he married singer Orinda Fink) and he and the guys sang Happy Birthday to me on the answering machine. I still have that tape so I will always have love for those guys.
