And surely Henienken (hell, even Bud) is better than Carling or Carlsberg, when the price is that high do you really want not quite a pint of 4.1% abv (carling) or carlseberg (which IIRC is 3.8% abv), at leas Heineken is at the 5% mark!

It's all about value for money when your on the lash! Which is pretty difficult at Coach with the heat and the fact you can only drink in the bar areas.

I believe the cups they give you are 10 oz.
I just don't like Heineken at all. The US has a ton of amazing beers that would be great on a hot day and I wish someone would fork over the money that Coachella wants in order to be served.

Budweiser is quite possibly the grossest beer known to man.

when it comes to beer, i'm not out their drinking the beer for taste, i'm drinking to get buzzed and enjoy a cold alcoholic beverage in the desert so i'd have to say when it comes to beer if they give us quantity instead of quality, f*ck it, i'm down, more beer for my buck and i think alot of people would be happy, if they brought it down to 5 dollars but the cups were 20oz (but as i've stated be4, my #1 choice would still be Corona if they go with quality over quantity )

They get those kegs for around $100, give or take about $10. The 1/2 barrels (full size keg) dishes out about 160 beers. At $7 a piece! You do the math. And that's the normal price for kegs. I would bet my left nut (I like my right one) they get a much better deal from Heineken

I second that! Corona is synonymous with fun in the sun. Just something about those commercials that gets to me. Sun, Palmtrees, and not having to worry about anything.

    Anything but Heineken! Please!!

They used to have Amstel Light as well, which is marginally better. A budget beer option would rule. Bring on the PBR cans.

YES Vegoose had Blue Moon and that was delicious. Blue Moon @ Coachella would be nice with a fat slice of an ice cold orange. mmmmm

I vote for microbrews at Coachella. It won't happen so I'll just stick to water and herb.

    It's Dutch piss, retard.

And as awful as it is, Dutch piss beats American piss hands down.

Although, where I live, any event that sells Bud will usually have Sierra Nevada Pale Ale as well. I think that's just a peculiarity of the local distributor, though.

I'm not a huge fan of S.N.P.A. either, but if they served it, I would probably drink a few over the weekend. As it is now, I don't drink at all at Coachella, half for my health, and half because it's Heineken.

What is it about PBR? I'll actually drink it every once in a while when the situation is right. I think it's so watered down that it doesn't even resemble beer, so it becomes something else more acceptable.

There's a BBQ place here that has 2 for 1 PBR cans on "White Trash Wednesdays". It's totally good with pulled pork.

Even just one beer garden with micros (many CA brews to choose from-Stone, Sierra, FIrestone etc) would be a massive improvement. I'll pay more to have real beer and no, Corona, Bud etc are not real beer.

Like Bonnaroo does with it's B'roo'ers tent. A little micro/craft beer garden where you buy tix for tastes (a couple ounces) and they have about 15-20 different tables with 2 or so beers each. Plus it's in the shade....

Firestone is one of my favorite beers and I have friends that work for them but I wouldn't want to drink anything heavy in the heat. You need something light and refreshing. They couldn't do Corona anyways because they don't sell it on draught.

A Brewers tent would be awesome. Then everyone would be happy!

I'd love some Sierra Nevada or Stone IPA or something out there. I'd pay more for it too and be so happy, even if just at one tent and you had to go through the porta potty area to get to it, and you had to agree to meet Sean Penn after the festival and go somewhere on his bus, it would be worth it. Heineken does kinda hurt me
