Neither of these games are close to best game of the year... that's why they are not on the list. I can appreciate MCP liking Dead Space, but Call of Duty... merely suggesting it could be in the running for best game is failtastic.

Twas a good year for gaming. I am thoroughly enjoying the hell out of Littlebigplanet right now, and I loved every minute of MGS 4. Especially the insane motorcycle sequence and boss battles.

Out of those choices I only played Mirror's Edge (awesome, but not GOTY), GTA4 (also awesome, but not as good as MGS4), MGS4 (my pick), and Prince of Persia (terrible).

mgs4 blew me away, and fallout 3 was incredible. little big planet is awesome, but not game of the year quality.
