I never doubted. They're glorious.

I used to work in a toy shop, and every few months the Lego Engineers - yes - would arrive in their special Lego jumpsuits, and give us all little Lego figures and keyrings and whatever. Lego day. And we were fools for Lego day, and looked forward to it like giddy kids. They were even nice dudes - nice dudes work for Lego.

Anyway, their entire job was to assemble a giant Lego Hagrid, or a giant Lego Indiana Jones for display. The basic lumps - the head, the arms etc - were already assembled, but they built the big models and then added set dressing like cobwebs or Inca skulls or whatever. That was their whole job, to play with Lego all day.

How do you get that job? Surely only by finding a Golden Ticket or something.

I'm gonna go work for a toy store so's I can get some keyrings and lego figures. Then I'll befriend one of the engineers. And after months of planning and note taking, I'll abduct him and pretend I'm him. Then I'll be a Lego engineer and get to play with Lego's all day. This is gonna be awesome.
