i know, house of blues hollywood feb.3 -ima be there-its gonna be just like last year
i saw em a month or so before coachella last year as well
their US tour will be wrapped up by early-mid march but i highly doubt well get an oppurtunity to witness the sound that brings extreme music to its knees in the indio desert

i liked their last set-though they werent headlining like they will be this time around-im hoping for some extras like-in death is life/death,obzen,new millennium cyanide christ, and dancers amoung others-im so stoked-i hope they pull out all the stops and play for two hours-no one will get out alive!!!
if amy winehouse and the killers play, they should suck it up and play early....due to the fact that both are highly overrated.

this is unofficially the meshuggah thread.
How about they play a record a night in LA.
7 nights with Meshuggah? I would be so fucking down.
*and then maybe a night to play rare songs and shit from None and other EP's.

Untamed talent is right.
When you can sit and find multiple listening paths in each song, you know they have talent that surpasses so many.
meshuggah=tool on steroids
very true.
Haake's legs are like fucking machines.
Those bass drum beats are fucking gnarly (the word seemed to fit there haha).

6 nights*
I didn't realize I was considered an EP
lol!
-haake is a cyborg, the triplets on bleed are retarded-in a good way!
there is no other way to justify those beats, he's a fucking cyborg.
and this definitely has become a meshuggah thread haha
anyone else going to join in?
heavy acts could play coachella-but there cant just be one isolated maniacal act-there would need to be like two others to compliment each other and reflect off one another-even if they dont all fall in the same sub-genre.
that makes two of us.
oh and Baroness.
oh and Isis.
Somebody just needs to make an experimental metal festival.
yes,yes and yes.
i stand by my previous post.
I wonder how much it costs to put on a legit festival?
enough to where youd probably have to actually some lose money the initial year just to garner some hype/momentum-like coachella back in 99.
I'm too lazy to post the festival poster but this festival would have been damn good.
link fixed: http://www.themelvins.net/wiki/image...Atp2008NBC.jpg
the festival, The Nightmare Before Christmas 2008 curated by The Melvins and Mike Patton had Melvins, Fantomas, Isis, Torche, and Mastodon on the bill just to name a few.
I should try putting on an experimental metal festival haha

Faith No More or The Melvins would be a good foundation act for experimental metal acts at coachella-you could bill the other acts to compliment the whole vibe...bridged w/isis,mastadon,and meshuggah-genius!
lets go into business and make a damn good festival
if you 'billed' it-they will come.
touche.
