I like The Killers just fine, but I saw them around '04 and it was one of the most boring shows I've ever seen.

Maybe they've learned some showmanship since then. They hadn't been around very long.

    Hmm. I like that thought.

I have Hot Fuss, decent enough poprock. Everything else has been Bushesque Failure.

Lick an orange, it tastes like an orange. Lick a pineapple, it tastes like a pineapple. Go ahead, try it. Try some more. The strawberries taste like strawberries. The snozzberries taste like snozzberries! We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams. Come along, come along.

I've decided to give The Killers a chance. I'm going to get the new CD, because I want to hear what they represent today. My expectations are very low, but if I make the switch to Team Killers, I won't keep it a secret.

I'm very proud of you for doing this! Do you like ANY of their music before this?

Day & Age takes some getting used to, I won't lie. But "Joy Ride" is fantastic and dancey and Duran Durantastic and I love it. That's one im greatly looking forward to hearing live

The only decent track in Day & Age is the opening track "Losing Touch". It's basically the ONLY track where you hear what resembles an "electric guitar".
After that, the album sucks cock.

It's so sad to see what the Killers have become. I fucking loved Hot Fuss, but when Sam's Town came out, I was so disappointed I gave away my cd. Sad.

I remember hearing some songs on the radio. The most recent being that song Mr. Brightside. I can't remember what they sound like actually. I just remember that I was sort of indifferent to their songs. I don't remember hating them, but I don't remember wanting to go out and buy their CDs either. I'm getting the latest CD right now.

So I'm about done with the new album. I liked parts of it. Nothing really grabbed at me though. I'm sorry. If there was a Team Killers, I would not join it... but I would read their newsletter.

From my experience with this new album, I wouldn't say The Killers are that bad... but compared to other bands I have learned about recently (Deerhunter, Herculus & Love Affair, and Fleet Foxes), The Killers don't stand on stable ground.

I saw The Killers at The Warfield in December and they put on a great show. I'm not sure if I'd be all that excited to see them at Coachella, but they're not as bad as your all trying to make them out to be... just sayin'.

I'm all for the Killers just not taking up the headlining slot. I think most would be OK with that.
