The Smiths also seem on the radar. I personally cannot stand Morrisy, but it would make history, and that is what Coachella does, year after year. I would catch the set, just to see the impossible happen.

Modest Mouse, Sigur Ros, Tom Waits -- alone couldn't move people to Coachella. but part of the whole line up, they wouldn't hurt. Also, Modest Mouse are terrible live, he should finally just kill himself. for reals.

I think modest mouse is wonderful live but i also havent seen them since like 2002

TV on the Radio has shocked me with all the attention theyre suddenly getting. theyve been a damned good band for long enough and yet every time ive seen them its been small crowds.

I agree Modest Mouse is terrible live...and the last time I saw them, Issac Brock was such an obnoxious asshole to the crowd that I vowed to never spend another cent on anything related to that band

First, it's the amazing people who attend followed by the awesome music.
With so much to see, listen to and do, how could someone not come to Coachella just because their favorite band isn't headlining?

This is the spirit of Coachella. No matter who plays most of us are still gonna go and still have a great time.

Coachella was also only 2 days, much cheaper, and there wasn't a recession going on. But nonetheless, if anyone could sell out $300 tickets, it would be them.
