I saw on other thread that most peeps like Psychocandy, but man, Honey's Dead blows that away for me, one of my most top played discs ever.

I have 8 - missing are "Barbed Wire Kisses" and "Sound of Speed".
Both excellent of course. I voted for "Darklands", primarily because it was the first Mary Chain album that was the perfect mix of noise and melody.

Psychocandy will always be the cool choice for most , but I end up playing Darklands more, so that must say something!

Well, what song didn't you like? I like noisy stuff, so i'd recommend Taste the Floor, but if you check out 21 singles you can get a good sampling of their entire career

I agree, I love that album, one of the few I can still listen to regularly (it is actually tied with 'Automatic' for me). Plus, I saw them on that tour (twice) and they were awesome. I am looking forward to seeing them again (4th time).

I listen to one more than the others for periods of time. For a long time, it was "Stoned & Dethroned," then "Darklands"... but lately, I have been listening to "Automatic" more. "Psychocandy" is a work of art, but I probably give the nod to "Darklands."
