In October 2006, Orbital's official site confirmed that the group would have a release in the near future. In November 2006 LOOPZ announced that the album will contain live audio from the Glastonbury Festival and will be released early next year

How about Underworld on one end of the tent and Chemical Brothers on the other end of the tent and have each artist mix off one another and battle it out. Take "Out of Control" From thr Chem Bros. and mix that into "Moaner" by Underworld and then do that for 2 hours or something. NOW THAT'S A F*CKING SHOW PEOPLE!!!!!!

Underworld would be amazing, also a Moby DJ set (I don't think his recent music fits Sahara so well).

also aphex twin (besides it never happening) would be a terrible sahara headliner. have you see his shows? undanceable music. it just leaves a lot of people standing around trying to find a beat. he would be better suited as the tesla coil headliner imo.

I saw him headline a night at ATP UCLA a few years back..People went mental and yes and there was lots of dancing!!

Underworld w/ tomato (design firm) visuals in the new tent would be quite nice. Aphex Twin w/ Chris Cunningham (director of some of his videos) visuals would be to die for. Where's Basement Jaxx in the list? Also, Nine Inch Nails (new album "year zero" due in april) could be interesting in the tent but depends on his "new" sound...

Yeah I think Cook would reach a broader audience and get them going.

The only other high-energy act on there that would fit is Underworld, but I don't think the casual festival-goer would embrace them as easily.

Everybody else on that list is either sub-par live or music geek discussion jizz.

i guess many havent realized or just dont know that sahara has always been dj dance music all day... even the chems. had a dj set. the only exception was a lady w some cheese dancers named madonna last yr.

beck and all these other bands are great and all but have always been in the gobi or outdoor stage. they need to keep sahara w the same vibe its had all these yrs. w continuous house music.

I really want to see Moby, but that would only be if he did an electronica set (plus some songs off Play)..

I'm with you man, but I've given up any hope that this will happen. Either way, they certainly wouldn't headline the Sahara. It would be niice to see them during the afternoon though.

I've been tracking the new album for months. Possibly their best since Polydistortion, but I still like Attention a lot too.

The thing w/ gus gus is they got to work on their live performance. I saw them at the el rey for the attention tour and they just didn't have that explosion in their sound like they did with the original '97 line-up. Maybe that will change in '07...bring them to us Goldenvoice
