I support this 100%. "Street Horrrsing" was my favorite album of the year, and it was a letdown when Mogwai cancelled their tour in which they were supporting. This would make up for it!

I approve. Seeing them open for Mogwai was fantastic. One of the few instances where the opener is almost as good as the headliner.

Their sound being "very similar" to their album might be an understatement. As for relaxing to their music? Me thinks not.

When they opened for Caribou a while back, there were terrified Canadian hippies covering their ears. When they opened for Mogwai, it was even louder. At one point, the white dude signaled to someone to turn up the volume, even though it was already the loudest show I had attended this year.

I might add that 95% of each crowd seemed utterly disinterested. Their sound is definitely not for everyone.
