He could have gone on stage without his crappy lights. If he can stop the entire show one night to yell at a fan who threw a water bottle on the stage, then he should be able to suck up his artistic desires and give the fans a show before dawn.

I agree that it was partially his fault and partially his terrible music's fault.

Kanye's new album is more electronic based so if he did play let him play in the Sahara otherwise we need some good Hip Hop like ATCQ, Atmosphere, Mr. Lif, Pharcyde, Eyedea and Abilities, Dilated Peoples, Beastie Boys, or anything underground, by the wayside, and not being played on the radio. We need the stuff hip hop heads have to dig to find. Having pop chart tricks with overrated egos who think they can do and act as they please (yes you Kanye) is not the way of Coachella. Leave that for Bonnaroo or Thugfest or whatever!!!

I think futureperfect is right on with the underground sentiments.

Has Common played Coachella? Not so underground anymore, but he does put up a good show. (keep in mind here that I'm a newb, I've only attended Sunday last year and got hooked. Yes, I could spend time to look it up but I'm just feeling too damned lazy this morning)

I'd already brought up Soul Position but apparently RJD2 is off on some other shit now, and Blueprint is working on a solo.

I've brought up DangerDoom or Madvillainy...either one would be sweet.

To me, GOOD underground hiphop seems harder to find than good EDM now. I was all into it in college, but that was a dozen years ago.

I thought MF Doom was still in hiding. I remember someone on this board had gone to his concert and it wasn't him, and the faker was booed off the stage.

    Atmosphere is probably playing.

Public Enemy is pretty good live and would be a nice fit.

    I need Outkast this year.

    Thank you.

Danger Doom would be great, but the only way I see it happening is if Gnarls Barkley is there too.

Wow...that's a damned shame. I know Madvillainy just released another remix album (I forget the title) but it's all rehashed stuff.

Hope Doom resurfaces soon. I've probably listened to Vaudville Villain 1000 times.

De La Soul, ATCQ, Del The Funkee Homosapien, Kook Keith, and heck, let's reunite the Fugees. I'd be down for all of that. I want the Perceptionists back too.

A reunited Fugees is about as likely as a Smiths reunion. Wyclef absolutely despises Lauryn Hill now.
