having trouble deciding on a case. the keyboard cases look interesting, but i wonder how well they work (bluetooth). also, i'm not sure i even need a stand or anything if i'm mainly going to read on my lap. choices!
Mitsubishi HC1500 projector that needs a replacement lamp. Pretty sure I can find one of these lamps online, but will I need to take it in to get replaced, or is the lamp/housing thing an easy replacement?

Lamps are easy to replace. You will likely need a phillips head screwdriver for the outer case door, and then the lamp itself should have two screws securing it inside. Don't forget to reset your lamp hour count (usually somewhere in the projector's menu) after you put the new one in.
Awesome. Thanks. I'll re-post once the job is done. It's expensive for the new lamp with housing, but the projector is too awesome not to be using.
Yeah that's the downside to projectors. Nice being able to have a wall for a screen, but you have to pay for it in the end.
Lamp has been ordered. Time to clean up the game room a bit now lol
Nice, I'll be needing similar software too for transfering ~12,000 songs w/ tags/artwork + playlists from an 80GB iPod Video (?) to a 160GB (?) iPod Classic
I can't decide which pc to buy. I don't want to go apple but the new imac is tempting..Apple's iMac 27-inch (Late 2012) desktop (model MD096LL/A) ...cr****

Jesus. Well okay, but I dunno, I don't much see the point in putting that much money into a computer nowadays. They're going to be half the price and twice the machine in a year. If you get an iMac though, just remember you NEED to buy AppleCare for as long as they let you, I think like three years or so? Doing hardware repairs particularly on recent models of iMacs is insanely costly if you don't have a warranty to go through. There was a line of iMacs in 2011 that were designed in such a way that basically if you had to try to get to the hard drive for any reason, the motherboard WILL get killed in the process. It was so guaranteed to fail as a repair procedure the official Apple procedure for dealing with the issue was to give a new computer--IF it was under warranty.
