Tha Block Is Hot is the debut album released on Cash Money Records by the New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne.
It was believed that Wayne did not use any vulgarities on this album but if you listen closely there are various to be found, most prominently on the song "Fuck tha World" (the album has a Parental Advisory label because his collaborators, such as the Hot Boys and Big Tymers, used several vulgarities, but Wayne used hardly any.) The album still contains a large amount of sexual content, and was released in an edited version removing any profanities.
In "Come On" in Wayne's second verse, there is a line that is backmasked. The line "...ready for war but I ain't the captain of no Goddamn tank..." was edited because Baby thought it'd be misinterpreted as a beef with No Limit Records. The album has sold over 2 million copies in the U.S. making it 2x Platinum. His lead single Tha Block Is Hot made number 50 on Vh1's 100 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs Of All Time[1]. The album was certified 2x Platinum

Bad Brains are horrible, now. If you care about the band in the slightest, you'd have to agree. H.R. has no voice left. He can barely hang with the more mellow jah-dub tracks. The second he has to attempt to do a "Right Brigade", it all falls apart embarrassingly. Dr Know still has it, but I'd prefer to just support solo Dr Know instead of paying extra to have H.R. destroy the show.
