Have Another Hit Of Colorado Sunshine
I expect that we will be seeing them back at the Polo Fields in 2014
Let's hope this album stops the trend of albums declining in quality as they go along. I'm half expecting it to be their first outright dud. Here is to being wrong!
OMG omg OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG omg OMG omg OMG
I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it!!!!!!!!!
"It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge"
I don't care for it. I do not mind posting that, as I do not give two fucks about your opinion of my musical tastes.
I like the strings on Rococo.
December 31 - Matthew Dear/The Sword/Pallbearer
January 30 - Behemoth
February 3 - Zola Jesus
February 10 - 1349
February 28 - A Place To Bury Strangers
April 6 - Swans
April 10-12 - Coachella
April 17 - Clark/Nosaj Thing
May 8-10 - Austin Psych Fest
May 15-17 - Psycho California
June 24-28 - Glastonbury
Yeah, the strings on Rococo are great. I much prefer it to songs like City with No Children or Modern Man, as far as that album goes.
cannot wait to see these guys live. would definitely be down for them at Coachella next year.
11/21 - Pearl Jam - Viejas Arena
Arcade Fire headlining Big Day Out in Australia/New Zealand from Jan 17 - Feb 2.
I wonder whatever happened to Gemma.
She either grew up and moved on or went all Tron and disappeared into a video game. It's really a crapshoot.
More, from Facebook, for whatever it may be worth:
Big Day Out's big man Ken West has revealed some very eye-catching stuff about Arcade Fire's future plans in an interview following the line-up announcement. West said, "Arcade Fire are on a big roll up, they’re not looking at festivals. They’re looking at their own stadium shows in America." Stadium shows, woah! Why Arcade Fire are playing the BDO festivals are apparently largely down to that their friends, Pearl Jam, are doing it. West went on to say, "these are the first real shows [following the album release]. They’re doing some warm up shows as far as I know, but this is the real start of their world tour."
Larger venues don't surprise me. Stadiums are cool. With so much material, I doubt they want to play mid-size venues multiple times per city but instead perform one longer set for as many people as possible.
