How does it work? Do you have to carry everything, including your tent, from wherever you park? How close is the camping parking to the actual campground?

How does it work? Do you have to carry everything, including your tent, from wherever you park? How close is the camping parking to the actual campground?

You have to park (in the temporary parking or the normal one) and then you have to carry everything to the entrance of the campsite for inspection. After that you have to carry all of your stuff to you camping area.

Can be quite a distance, depending on the hour, camping spot, etc.

1. Pull up to the entrance

2. Drop all of your stuff off by the front gate

3. Park your car (hopefully you'll have someone to watch your stuff)

4. Grab as much of your stuff as you can, and get in line

5. Check in

6. Walk to your camping area, drop off your stuff

7. Walk back to the entrance, and pick up the rest of your stuff

8. Get back in line

9. Repeat until all of your crap is inside.


Here are some pointers:

-Try to use a wagon or cart
-If you have a cooler, make sure it has wheels
-Stay calm, it can get quite hectic checking in, so just relax and enjoy the moment.

plus we'll have to check out of our motel early enough anyways
