As for cats not having a group dynamic, I don't know about groups, but my cat likes to have other animal friends. Unfortunately, his friend, Louie, was attacked and literally eaten by two coyotes outside of my place, very early in the morning. Louie weighed 18 lbs. My Pantera has been looking for him and demanding way more attention, now that hes' gone:-(
