I finally got my first tattoo this past weekend. At the risk of sounding like a Radiohead fanboy, I loved the lyric too much and got "Immerse your soul in love" on my back shoulder.

Unfortunately, I have some skin condition that I have no idea what it is, that causes my skin to turn into dry, itchy scar tissue whenever it gets really irritated (like road rash or sandals rubbing the skin raw). So, I'm afraid of a tattoo turning into scar tissue...

Hahhaha, marooko thinks the shark on his arm stub is a representation of how he achieved said arm stub. He tattooed the creature that caused so much pain to be the stub on his arm to show he has no hard feelings.

Could've been a shark attack I guess. It could have been a birth defect or a freak accident. He could have diabetes or something and had to get it removed. Either way, I think he just wanted his arm stub to look like a bad ass shark.

Maybe? I've had that before, and this condition acts differently than eczema does. The only way I can describe it is it's like if scar tissue formed over a disc of white blood cells, then it itches, and is extremely dry. It's annoying.
