radiohead at apw night 2 was the best out of the 3 times i saw them but the national was simply beautiful. the megapuss show with devendra banhart and fabrizio moretti in front of me was out of this world.
and david byrne, as much as i love talking heads, wasnt better than this:

yeah it was amazing! it was starting to rain, i was hanging with a cute french girl i had met that day, there were so many girls dancing around me and the music was the best,

Well I reduced my 40 down to the top 20 cause its too big... these aren't my favorite shows, but simply my favorite live bands of 08 and where I saw them. In order of how good each set was, if there's multiple.

I'll probably be made fun of for a couple of em heheh... well, I got strange taste.

It was sonically life changing. With 20 seconds of silence (John Cage style)... to Antony playing Beyonce's Crazy in Love (opera style, just think about that for a moment).. all behind the LA Philharmonic Best concert of the year no question.

Just sayin... you don't always have to say "that band blows", just say "I think that band blows" and people won't get very irked. I dunno, my two cents. I have never myself heard the music of Thrice hahaha.

Hmmm, mine is difficult. I think the best show I went to this year was Gogol Bordello at the Commodore Ballroom on October 10th... because that is show I got engaged at. It was incredible for so many different reasons. So that is the best show I have seen all year. So good it doesn't even get a number assigned to it. So here is the rest...
