I like almost every song on both OKC and In Rainbows and the Bends rocks, plus the time I saw them in '97 is my all time favorite concert...so the 90s get my vote, but I sure like where they have been and where they are going.

Ok Computer and their early Britpop stuff is pretty good, but the rest is all garbage. 90s it is.

i love OK computer to no end, but i still feel that they could have put in Lift or something else in place of that song to make an even better album.

That's why I picked 2000's Radiohead. Even though OKC is a flawless masterpiece, the other stuff they made in the 90's doesn't hold up to Kid A, Hail to the Thief and In Rainbows.

Easy choice actually... 00's. In Rainbows is their best album, followed by Kid A (imo).

Radiohead of today is a way better band. Not even close. Who really thinks radiohead was at its best opening for alanis morisett?

The piano on Fitter Happier is really beautiful though. I mean it's worth listening to just for that.

This isn't even a choice. I cant believe 2000s Radiohead is winning. I bet if this poll started after King Of Limbs came out, 90s Radiohead would win.

isn't there a STRONG consensus that not only is Kid A the best RH album, but one of the greatest music albums ever created? also, since i believe that Amnesiac are songs from the Kid A sessions, it's essentially a carryover of positive praise to that album as well. HTTT was solid, does anyone ever say they get bored listening to that album? imo it has the most depth in regards to rock (Go To Sleep, some extent There There), to heavy piano tracks such as STTM, and electronic (Gloaming, myxamytosis...yea i can't spell that). In Rainbows, not necessarily a game changer in terms of Radiohead's sound but had an immense impact on the business and consumer side of the music industry. it's importance as a musical work from RH carried over outside of the bands hardcore fan base. "let me download a brand new RH album, FOR FREE?" that was pretty nuts.

if we were to base this poll on strictly on albums, it's pablo, bends, and ok...vs everything else. how many of us really listen to pablo that much, the % of fans isn't that high. it's a decent album but do we really care about their first release...i would guess not in comparison to the rest of their catalogue. also (please call me out if i'm wrong) they play almost nothing from that album in recent years). so now it's 2 albums vs basically everything else...including the ridiculous sets/light shows they come out with in the past few years (better technology, yada yada yada) yea there are chants for Street Spirit during shows and OKC is no doubt a gem of an album. also i wouldn't mind seeing that mother being played straight through at a show. at the end of the day there are just too many great aspects of the band that were created or evolved post 1999, imho.

There is not a strong consensus that KidvA is the best album. In fact, most of the people I know prefer OK Computer, myself included. Most Radiohead fan agree its one or the other, but I wouldnt say there is a strong concensus either way.

Of course Fitter Happier is not going to shine as a stand-alone track, but it is undeniably brilliant in the context and theme of OK Computer.

this is understandable, although calling radiohead 'just a band' might be a bit extreme.

Hmmmm..a lot of my favorite Radiohead gigs were in the 1990's but they were smaller venues like Duchess of York, Charlotte, Astoria and Brixton Academy then 1997 Glastonbury headline slot was awesome.

Wow, what an insanely tough choice...Due to my long-standing obsession w/ OKC, I chose 90's. Overall, I went:

    1. OK Computer
    2(a). Kid A
    2(b). The Bends
    4. Amnesiac
    5. In Rainbows
    6. HTTT
    7. Pablo Honey
    8. KoL
Fri: Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys, Explosions In the Sky, M83, Amon Tobin, the Rapture, GIRLS, Frank Ocean, Yuck, Neon Indian, Breakbot, WU LYF, Other Lives, EMA
Sat: Radiohead, Bon Iver, Andrew Bird, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, SBTRKT, Sub Focus, Flying Lotus, Destroyer, the Head & the Heart, tUnE-yArDs, Gary Clark Jr., Dragonette

This is not the most popular opinion, but I fucking love TKOL. Assuming that counts as part of the '00 (which is probably a bad assumption) then it's gotta be '00 FTW. But even assuming TKOL isn't part of the '00s, Kid A still is. And since Kid A is a fucking masterpiece and RH's best album, '00s still win.

For what it's worth (not much), I rank em like this:
    1. Kid A
    2. OKC
    3. Amnesiac
    4. TKOL
    5. HttT
    6. The Bends
    7. In Rainbows
    8. Pablo
    Darkside (1/25)
    Oneohtrix Point Never (2/7)
Four Tet (3/7) / Voices from the Lake (live) (3/7)
    London Grammar (3/25)
    Trentemoller (4/5)
    Factory Floor (4/15)
    Coachella (4/18-4/20)
    Haxan Cloak (5/15)
