So I went to Elbow at the Greek tonight and ran into a friend who had an extra seat in his box. He introduced me to his other two friends in the box - some chick, and Bernard from LOST. We totally hit it off and he's a total music junkie too. Loves Bon Iver and even S.Carey. I was impressed. Super nice guy and it was awesome getting to watch Elbow with him. I never told him I was a LOST fan and I'm hoping my friend didn't, either. I didn't want to make him uncomfortable. But yeah, sorta made my night.

Every Tuesday at noon, SF tests its emergency management system of outdoor speakers and it sounds just like the scratchy announcement on the pa that accompanies the hatch going into blue light lock-down mode.
