That is what a lot of people are doing now. And it feels semi furstrating if you are in a packed room and nobody nods their head, yet you figure quite of bit of those people just click on the artist info and go research.

Is there a way to get spotify to remember your play queue if you quit the program and then re-open it?

Yeah I saw you scrobbled Chelsea Girls today, Paul. That song is fantastic. I've always had that labeled under unreleased VU songs.

I don't think there is. The best thing to do is just create a new playlist and add whatever you were going to add to your queue to the new playlist.

I thought I would share a few playlists that I am currently enjoying...

    BBC 6 Playlist (Current):
    http://open.spotify.com/user/mrbilly...lOoPj4Me0jFpBT

BBC 6 Ex-Playlist (Ongoing playlist of songs played on the station):
    http://open.spotify.com/user/mrbilly...MnBMjSFU4sVHRl

Both of the above playlists are updated weekly...

And then I keep a playlist of my current favorite songs...
    http://open.spotify.com/user/bohnjag...4iuhHKpvO4o26O

They added the new Little Dragon CD to Spotify today. It's very good!

Anyone else have any playlists to share?

I'm still using it. I will cancel when the month is up. It's very cool, but I think I'll pass and just take the free one on computer only.
I don't know how bad it gets with ads on the free one either. Is it like Pandora? An ad every 4 or 5 songs?

Not nearly that frequently in my experience. Sure, it sucks, but for free 99 I'm not complaining.

If you use spotify and last.fm you might like soundmatch. just enter your last.fm username (or a user you like) and soundmatch with generate a playlist based off last.fm recommendations and top artists. It takes a minute to load so just wait.

how does one check how many hours of free listening remain? It is of my understanding that a free account can only stream 10 hours of music and any specific track for no more than 5 times..

I got a free 3 month premium account. LOVE it. I will pay for it when it runs out in november. I use the app on my phone at the gym for my gym mix. Its so much easier to find/add random songs, take off ones i'm sick of. not having to find/download anything anymore (unless some advance leak maybe). easier to add to my spotify. best invention ever.

I've upgraded to a premium account. Love it as well. Don't use the last.fm radio anymore, cancelled my subscription for that. I've started using my phone for listening a lot more, used to use my iPod almost exclusively when I'm out. Great being able to listen to things I don't already have.

Listening to the new Little Dragon right now. Liking it so far.

I've been using it for a few days now. I'm annoyed with all the ads. In a 20 minute listening session I heard 4 ads. I'm not sure I will use it enough to pay $10 a month either. I'll keep playing with the free version for a bit. I definitely enjoy some aspects of it. If they let me stream to my phone during the trial I would get more use out of it. Currently I use audiogalaxy and stream my entire computer collection to my phone for free with no ads and I continue to use that program daily.

Surprised this thread died. I have Spotify premium and absolutely love it. Only complaint is that certain new albums are not released yet that I really want to hear. Blondes and Julia Holter are two in particular but overall have been able to listen to all the new music.

I also really like the apps particularily the pitchfork one and the Tunewiki. They just released some new apps and Filtr and Digster on face seem like they could be useful. Any other apps people like?

Wow actually this Filtr app is AWESOME. Kind of like the iTunes' Genius but more options to generate a playlist. Genres, Friends [need more friends that like more music on fb], Fb Events invites [same], and even Countries. Pretty dope.

Just downloaded the SpotOn app on Iphone which is a Pandora like service incorporating the Spotify Premium account. You pick an artist and it starts playing songs based on that choice.

    Features:
    - You can like or dislike a song which will adjust the station.
    - You can choose to have songs liked automatically Starred on your Spotify account.
    - Artist Stations are saved on your Spotify in a folder
- Obviously can forward through songs and has sharing options to facebook, twitter, and can even add songs to one of your existing Spotify playlists through the app.

Here is the playlist from using John Talabot as an artist (with some likes in there):
    -John Talabot - Depak Ine
    -Jacob Korn - She
    -John Talabot - El Oeste
-Jacob Korn - She (John Talabot ScreaMix)
-Motor City Drum Ensemble - L.O.V.E.
-Precious System - Voice from Planet Love (slightly re-arranged)
-Motor City Drum Ensemle - Raw Cuts #3
    -Levon Vincent - Love Technique
    -Tony Lionni - This Feeling

    Review:
-So far a great app that solves the missing radio station feature on the Spotify app. I think the repeating artists on my station so far is because of the likes but I do like that it provides different selections from the Filtr app on Spotify = discovering more music.
