I feel sorry for you guys. After what happened with him and Jonathon Ross with regards to Andrew Sachs (Manuel from Fawlty Towers) it looks like his going to be in the US to stay.

Brand (and Jonathan Ross, who I don't think is at all known in the US) make a prank call to Sachs for their radio show.



It cost Brand his job, Ross is currently suspended, there is fucking murder about it.

and yes, it was pre-recorded and no one stopped it from running. so who really is to blame?

can someone explain the 'TV tax' you guys have over there. dont you only have 4 channels?

we have to pay a TV licence about £100 a year I think?
It basically pays for BBC1 and 2. ITV and Channel4 and Five are free. But basically yeah it pays for 2 channels because BBC doesn't have adverts.

And Johnathon Ross get 6 million a year and that's what my TV licence fee goes on. Winding up OAPs.

It's just irritating that you have to pay it regardless of whether you ever even watch their channels.

We only have 4 analogue channels, but there are close to 600 digital ones on satellite (most of which seem to show re-runs of Friends all day).
