ya fuckass.
Has anyone been to the new Academy of Sciences in GG Park? I kinda want to wait a couple of months in hopes that the crowds will die down a little bit.
Yayyy where you going???
Yes it's gorgeous...I'm surprised you haven't been there yet it's been reopened for a few years now...they did a total demolition of the old building and rebuilt a whole new structure...the top floor is a viewing room of the city...absolute perfect birds eye view of teh city!!!
No but my friend has a membership and says it's really nice. The seating has changed in the planetarium exhibit.
Alternative Press Expo this weekend @ the Concourse -- anyone going? Lotsa good indie comix.
I am moving and no longer what neighborhood I am repping... according to wikipedia it is the Lake District.
.
There maybe no lakes... but there is definitely a Lake Street.

APE is one of the country’s largest gatherings of the best in indie comics, offering a venue for exhibitors ranging from self-publishers of minicomics to such large publishers as SLG Publishing, Fantagraphics, Drawn and Quarterly, Oni Press, Top Shelf, and many more. It offers a huge collection of some of the best indie and alternative comics material out there: graphic novels, ’zines, art books, prints, original art, and comics of every size and shape. You can’t walk through the giant APE Exhibit Hall and not be inspired to either open your wallet and buy cool stuff or go home and hunker down and create some of your own. It’s that kind of show.
Cool. I'm going to be north for the weekend but 10 bucks isn't a bad deal. Unless it's as crowded as Penny Arcade in Seattle was, it looks similar from the pictures. Penny Arcade was so crowded and the air smelled like Taco Bell.
Every single person that makes eye contact with you on the bus COULD be me.
Nerds.
Hiding from my friends in the bathroom at
to write this tune down.
On a piss-stained Frisco truck, no less.
that was a total dislexic moment...
I was born 'n raised here so I'm totally for here...my roots run the deepest here!!!
or you could just look for someone who seems to be making creepy deliberate eye contact with people.
