Let's talk about Bay Area Halloween crap. Has anyone done one of those ghost-walk tour things in SF? Or the night-time flashlight tour of Winchester Mystery House? I've been curious about these two. Went to Pirates of Emerson (in Fremont) last weekend -- a pretty cool Halloween attraction. Any other suggestions?

i will be up in danville for thanksgiving, so we will def. be doing a trip into san fran. there is a chinese place that i hope is still there. we have eaten at it every trip up there since i was about 5 years old, so 25 years total...now i just need to remember the damn name!

there isn't shit going on for halloween in san francisco. z-trip is playing the supper club, but I'm not sure that would be a great place to spend halloween. someone's trying to organize a massive at the cow palace, but it looks fucking lame. they won't even name any djs that are playing it. (all the good acts are in LA that night). the castro street party doesn't happen any more. I'm disappointed. I think I'm going to a friend's party though, so hopefully that will be fun.

I've lived in San Francisco twice, but I haven't been back since I moved in late-2001 just before my daughter was born. I'm taking a side trip and going back for three days just prior to Thanksgiving while we're out visiting my father in Palm Springs. I can't wait!

I like SF. haven't been there in years. saw Pearl Jam at Golden Gate Park. well short of. Vedder was sick and they only played a few songs. Bad Religion and Neil Young were the openers. it was still a great show. got to see 2 great performances and one short Pearl jam.

I love going home when the seasons change because there is actual fall/winter weather in the Bay Area. I always want it to be colder here but it usually doesn't happen.
