    Default Comparing Festival Attendance

So what's the capacity for Coachella? Bonnaroo? ACL? Langerado?
Just curious, cause I believe Lolla was 75,000 a day

In 2006 it ''peaked'' in them shoving as many people as they could and had 60k a day. Roo is 80k, Lolla is 75 like you said. ACL is 50 at least.

No, even they have a cap. And from what I have read the highest I have seen was 80.

Edit: I read the wiki right now, and it says the ara of the main stage can hold 100k, but that doesnt mean that many people are even there. This could be the reason why its taken longer to sell out the last couple years, since it has faster in previous years.

No, you're wrong, they don't have a cap, just like your coloring pic. Don't believe everything you read...

Everyone has to have a cap, and read above edit. Doesnt matter if they own the place now and decided a million tickets can be sold. Fire codes have say into how many people can be there with the available space.

Are you sure about that? It seems like every year it gets bigger and bigger and they just keep extending it because they have sooooo much land. They always say that tickets are almost sold out just so they can get people worried and sell more. Then again, I guess there has to be a limit on how many people can fit inside of Centeroo, but I don't see how they could put a cap on everything else.

And there has to be a security personnel ratio. I am not entirely sure what though.

They have gotten a little more stringent since 1969.

Back on topic Lolla lad wise is MUCH MUCH bigger than coachella too. Which I don't think is a good thing at all.

Yeah, "available space" those are the key words. They basically have limitless available space, but it's outside of Centeroo.

In other words, you're right they do have a cap on how many people can actually go into Centeroo and watch the bands. However, the amount of people at Bonnaroo as a whole could potentially reach millions, I know it never will, I'm just putting it into perspective.

it felt so so good this year to be able to walk around without bashing into people, and to actually get close to the main stage without being crushed

Honestly, it sucked trying to get around Lolla past ~5pm. 75k is a shit ton of people. I can only imagine what that means for the 'Roo and Glatso.

75K feels like a lot more at Lolla than it does at Bonnaroo, that's for sure.

Which is one of the many reasons why Lolla is a sub par fest.
