But as far as picking somebody I'd like to get to know better, thestripe just isn't very high on the list. Not that I hold anything against him, he just hasn't offered much to peak my interest.

If you had a young daughter who was going out and partying and you suspected she might be experimenting sexually and with drugs but you felt she was too young how would you handle the situation?

This is a good question. I actually kind of feel like I am going through this because I worry so much about my little brother. (Also I KNOW my older sister always had her eyes on me, and worried about me like I was her daughter.) As a parent I would know that kids are going to lie, try to sneak out, hang out with boys; I would want to be in the know, yet it may be too much to handle knowing the truth. My mom always asked who, what, when, where, why, etc for everything I did. I found ways around her prodding, like any kid would. Even though I would consider myself the most liberal of my siblings, I am a good person, responsible, and keep a good head on my shoulders. From this board it may seem like I party all the time, or do drugs on a regular basis, but that is not the case. I go to a rave MAYBE once a month if that. I would be supportive of my daughter, I would want her to know that I am there for her to talk to, without closing in on her too much as to push her away. I would be sad to find out if she was doing dangerous things behind my back, but I would have to take into account the way I felt when I was growing up. I just think the best thing to do is talk it out, and try and find a middle ground where I can succeed in trusting her, yet not chastising her to make the situation taboo.

She would steal the drugz and the boyfriend. Duh.

Well I think it would be kind of ironic if he declined, being so persistent of the suckiness that is the boards of late why not make it better by spreading his charisma for one week.

Also Rage I agree. I don't hate anyone on this board, although many aspects of the constant warring I don't understand. If I met Corinna, or thestripe, etc. I truly think we would get along and make fine conversation. They wouldn't think so though.

It's true, I have a feeling a lot of people who interact on this forum hide behind the fact that it's the internet, not real life. I have had the AWESOME chance to meet many of the board members-I love it. In person I'm fun, relaxed, friendly, easy to get along with, probably the way you assume I would be from my posts. I haven't really been disappointed by misrepresentation from anyone who I have met yet, but I know there are some who are assholes for the sake of nothing. I may never get a chance to meet thestripe, but hey if it's Coachella and we're chillin' at the main stage or something, how could we not be having fun?
