Its funny you should ask about Bond movies because I just ordered the entire box set collection to further my knowledge of the whole Bond universe and whatever. As for what I have seen, I'm really keen on any of the films with Sean Connery.

What's your story with SB, did you grow up there? If not, what was your reasoning for moving there? Do you see yourself moving anywhere else soon? If so, where?

I moved here to Santa Barbara 3 years ago on 9/11/2009. I came up here to basically transfer for my job and open a new Whole Foods and to get the fuck out of Orange county. I don't hate Orange county (actually I do), but it became the same old thing every day and I needed a change. Moving to SB was the best life changing decision I have ever made. People here are nicer and there is always something to do. Plus the bars are much better. That and I'm not incredibly far from my family, which means i don't have to fly or whatever. As far as moving elsewhere, I always wanted to move to Portland or somewhere close. My sister went to Louis and Clark for 2 years and had nothing but amazing things to say about the area.

It's actually a sad memory, but whatever. About ten years ago, I was with my girlfriend at the time and our other friends who were also a couple. We had decided to take mushrooms in the afternoon and go exploring in the canyon behind the city. The date was July 26, 2003, and the night before my buddy was supposed to come by and we were gonna get drunk and go to the beach the next morning. But he ended up bailing to play video games with his dad, which is cool, whatever. No big deal. So i made other plans to go on a "trip". I remember everything from scoring the mushrooms from the dude from Boston, driving back up the 5, watching some dumb bitch rear end a nice beamer, and finally getting some Del Taco and heading home. So everyone met me at home in my poolhouse, which was pretty much my own little house, and we crushed up the mushrooms and filled up our tacos. We all went for a walk to get them to kick in quicker and came back with a great body high. So after awhile, I'm starting to get that crazy euphoria, and seeing little things move a little bit (I had taken an eighth and a half by the way, so I was a little more fucked up than the rest of the group.) and we then began to plan out how to get to the canyon. right before we could get the plan into motion, I received a phone call from my previously mentioned friends on and off again girlfriends little brother. He was calling to see if I had my friends aunts phone number to get in touch with the rest of his family. I thought it was a sign that the two had gotten back together, so I was kinda like "oh are they talking again? Awesome! I'm happy for them!" and the little brother was kinda like "you don't know what happened? you should call his parents". So I was pretty confused as to why, but I did only to find out that my best friend had passed away in his sleep the night before. And this is happening while im trying to hold down my coffee table from walking away. So I freaked the fuck out. tried to keep composure and call a cab for our friends, and sent my GF on her way to a friends house down the street, and I began to drive to his house, on mushrooms, up on the hill. I had to pull over a few times to get a hold of myself, and finally arrived at his house where i was for the most part enveloped into like 6 of his relatives in a giant hug. then sitting in his room. talking to his parents. sneeking off with his brother to pass back and forth a flask. and then his GF driving me home and smoking a bowl with my girlfriend while my phone went fucking nuts. I can recall every second of that day. crazy huh?

oh yeah, I've taken them since quite a few times. But now a days I will only do them in Joshua Tree or Coachella. That and I have learned to turn my phone off.

Honestly, I'm trying to be more health conscience as of recent, but i tend to be lazy and eat out when convenient. that and i smoke cigs. You'd be surprised how many people at whole foods smoke. I don't smoke weed anymore and haven't for about 8 months. Now I make breakfast and am trying to cut down on sugars and fats. I also just bought a bike so I don't really drive anymore that much. I'm trying to stay consistent but its hard when you're lazy.
as far as something being a sham, I couldn't say really. If anything the music CDs they "attempt" to sell at the register are pretty atrocious. I also have a weird veiw on organics, but I'm not gonna get into that. blah blah blah
