What's the strangest thing that ever made you come especially hard?

I'd have to say it was a friend with benefits I had that was terribly unattractive in a traditional way, but our chemistry was unbelievable. I couldn't understand why because he wasn't my type at all, and we could never have a relationship because I found him infuriating. But when we were in the same room we couldn't keep our hands off each other. It was an anomaly and I've not experienced it before or since.

Over your lifetime how many pets have you had? What was the best name you've given a pet?

I have only had a few pets as there were some of us with allergies in my house growing up. I had problems with dogs but gradually outgrew it. Cats still bug me. I had two goldfish named Mr. Magoo and Tiger. Newts named Herman and Sherman.
Two finches named Patrick and Angela. The odd angel fish here and there. I had a budgie named Rio for years. And I had a shih tzu named Molly that went to a friend of my moms when I moved. Then none until we decided to live together and I inherited Maggie and a Golden Retriever named Deefer. Then Deefer went to live with my spouses ex because we were sharing them, and she was moving away so we had to split them up. That sucked. Two years later we got Asha. I like the name Asha the best I think.

John. What is it like living in Hell's Kitchen?

It's great. I like that it is an easy walk to the Met Opera House and Avery Fisher Hall, Broadway theaters, Central Park and the the Hudson River. I like that I'm surrounded by restaurants, bars, shops and more. I used to try to walk to places in Phoenix but it was such a pain.

The weather has been pretty good to me; our winter was rather mild and while the summer has been humid it has only been really hot a few days.

How many Coachella's have you attended?

12. I wanted to go in 1999 but could not convince anyone to go with me and at the time I wasn't adventurous enough to go from Tucson by myself. Then in 2001 my friend in Chicago was excited to see Weezer, etc and I was excited to see the Dandy Warhols and the Chemical Brothers (I didn't yet realize that DJ set meant not my thing) and we went and it was one of the best things I had ever experienced and on the way back talked about how we hoped the festival happened again so we could keep going.

What is your favorite thing about the Coachella Message Board? Your least favorite thing?

My favorite thing is that I have met a lot of great friends through this board. I started meeting people from this board in 2004 and Coachella would no longer feel like Coachella if the crowd didn't seem to be half Coachella board folk. Before I left Phoenix most of the (non-family) people I hung out with were people I had met through this board.

I am not sure what my least favorite thing is; maybe newbie season?

And my stock question - do you want to be buried or cremated? Explain.

I want to go to Xibalba and have my body explode when that star goes supernova. Or maybe have a tree planted somewhere - right now I am thinking Northern Arizona but that may change with time - with my ashes. But I am not convinced that that would be helpful but I like the ideas of infinity and life cycle, etc.

OK, I haven't thought about it specifically much but I'd go for cremation over burial.
