I can't think of any really exciting stories from high school -- I do remember once I went to the Q-Fest that radio station KUKQ put on, and my glasses got knocked off and smashed in the mosh pit at Front 242, and I didn't tell my parents about it for 6 months because I was afraid they would be mad at me. (They weren't really that mad when I finally told them)
From college: I got several interviews with bands I like through ASU's radio station, so that was cool. I got to interview Trent Reznor, Sarah McLachlan, and Chapterhouse. I really didn't know what the fuck I was doing so the interviews were all embarrassingly awful.
Favorite Coachella set: I think I'm gonna go with Portishead because set and setting, bands before and after, sound quality, temperature, drugs, EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect that night, and I will never forget it. I saw Radiohead and Daft Punk too, but we were dehydrated at Radiohead (fucking HOT that day), and we couldn't see at Daft Punk (I had no idea there was a pyramid).
