1. People who use their religion to keep other people down. Seriously, Jesus does not approve. As long as there are people there will be groups being oppressed in some way or another, but using God as a justification for that oppression just seems particularly slimy. People who abuse children and animals just barely come in second.

BBQ: probably Mo's BBQ in San Luis. I haven't really been to many barbeque places and my parents made extremely poor choices in North Carolina by never picking a BBQ restaurant to eat at. Screw them.

Mexican: La Super Rica in Santa Barbara for chilaquiles and street tacos. Dona Tomas in Oakland for fancier cuisine.

Indian: some Indian buffet in Mountain View that I can't remember the name of for the life of me. So. Good. Better than Punjabi Tandoor here.
