That is a good answer. I feel the same way.

I wouldn't say I deal with fanatics on a regular basis, but I definitely notice a more conservative culture here. I see a lot more pro-life and confederate flag stickers on the back of cars than I ever thought was possible. There are tons of churches and I regularly get people banging on my door to hand me religious pamphlets and invite me to their service, but they are always nice when I tell them I'm not interested. There is a decent sized LGBT community here and for the south, it's a more liberal city (lots of colleges and northerners) so I don't think I would be treated horribly if I had a pride flag on my porch. Who knows, but I think the worst that would happen is more people would try to save my soul and I'd get a lot of pro-Jesus literature tucked in my door. I do have a Human Rights Campaign marriage equality sticker on the back of my car and nobody has ever said anything to me.
As a fellow cat (and naughty squirrel) enthusiast, my question is: do you talk to your cats? I mean do you have actual conversations with them?
Favorite drink? Meanest thing you've ever done to someone else?

Liz, did you go to the show at the cradle tonight by chance? Drove to Ch Hill and back tonight for XX.
My go-to boozey beverage is a favorite of octogenarians everywhere - Crown & ginger. I also really love martinis, but vodka does bad, bad things to my body.
I wish I had a really good meanie story to share but I feel like they're all kind of lame. I was friends with this skank in college that was a horrible gossip and treated all of her friends poorly. I can't even remember what she did to provoke it, but I sent out her email password (to various accounts) and the login information for her myspace to about a dozen people. Some of them had a field day with it and caught up on all of the hateful things she had been saying about them. It caused her a lot of problems and she lost a few friends. I don't know if that's exactly the meanest thing in the world, but it's kind of screwed up to share someone's personal information like that. Oh well.
Would you post your absolute favorite image before your week is over?
After breakfast, we would take in the new city and shop or sight see or go where the wind blows us. I can't say for sure because the unexpected is what I like about travelling. Ideally we'd be back at the hotel so I can take a mid-afternoon nap; sleeping during the day with the windows open and the breeze coming in is pretty kick ass.
My post nap activities would include dinner at some fantastic outdoor cafe, cocktails, drunken antics, and definitely some live music. I would end the night on my patio with my girls talking about how awesome it is that I'm wealthy and can afford to meander through strange cities without a care in the world. I'd go to bed with the hopes that I get to do something similar tomorrow.
If you could listen to any song right now, what would it be and why?
What did you eat for breakfast?
Breakfast today was coffee, Trader Joe's O's, fake milk, strawberries and a banana cut up and thrown in the cereal.
And if you would please turn your attention to Locachica73, she will be answering your questions this week.
Loca, how many Coachellas have you attended and what were some of your favorite sets?
Thank you linzig, this will be fun while I am recovering.
I have attended 2 Coachellas, my first was 2008. My favorite set will always be Prince, he was the only headliner that would have gotten me to work up the nerve to go to a music festival. My sister has gone to every Coachella I think, maybe she missed one, and several other festivals but I was too scared of the crowds and really not as into music as she is. But I had been a Prince fan since a young girl so when she learned he was going to be there she knew it was her chance. I loved the Kraftwerk - Portishead - Prince block, that will always be my favorite Coachella moment I think.
Audra, what artists are you really looking forward to this year?
I am really looking forward to Jay-Z and Muse, I have been listening to the discs my sister made for me and those are my favorites. LCD Soundsystem too. Of course Faith No More and De La Soul to remind me of my childhood. I also like the Gorillaz but only know a few of their songs.
LOL I really don't know Tom. Nick likes to think I am being punished for some bad deed along the way. Or he at least tells me that sometimes to make me mad, I don't think he really believes that, if he did it would worry me as I don't really believe God (if there is one) is sitting up there thinking, man that Audra, she really sucks at life, lets break her leg for fun. If he is, he needs a new hobby.
