Drinkey, who are your must sees this year? Pick 2 for each day.
Drinkey, what are your top 5 prized possessions? If you were to die tomorrow, who would you give them too?
What is your favorite childhood memory?
Top 5 best movies that you wouldn't necessarily watch over and over (unlike your favorite movies)?

Wow, there are a lot of questions! I wasn't able to be on the computer much last night and it's a bit busy in the studio this morning, so i may be taking these one at a time.
I think the time period that fascinates me the most is the American Old West, probably mid-19th century. The vast expanses of land at that time and the ability to just wander around and disappear into nothingness is appealing to me in a way. I think if I had done things in my life differently I would liked to have been more of a traveler. i like being alone and walking into new situations and meeting new people. It would have been nice to not be so tied to stuff.

He's the one who listed his favorite movies he would watch over and over again which aren't necessarily the "best" movies as far as critics are concerned. I just wondered if he had another, more high brow list.

Wrong:
Synonyms: disagreeable, unlikable, horrible, horrid, distasteful, objectionable, obnoxious, repulsive, foul, nasty, bad
You may really disagree with a movie and think it is "distasteful, objectionable, and replusive" but that doesn't make it bad by definition......

^^ I'm just going to add my unsolicited 2 cents here. Requiem For A Dream- Unpleasant yet good. Would not watch it again.
I wasn't going to say it.
Mr. McDrinkerstein,
Did the musical tastes of your parents have any influence your music preferences? If so, explain.
If you had the time, ingredients and desire to cook a 3-course meal right now, what would you make?
Who are you favorite and least favorite former US Presidents, and why?
drinky, you're living in the old west and you're a cowboy who's just rode into town, on the run for the law for some reason. what did you do to piss off the law and what is your new mission?

OK, how about we say a movie that makes you uncomfortable. To me, that's an unpleasant experience, but apparently you don't agree. Anyway, that doesn't make it "bad", and in fact, some of the best movies I've ever seen made me extremely uncomfortable. I've used this before, but it's easy so...Bad Boy Bubby is a perfect example. However...
...you do have a point here. I WOULD watch Bad Boy Bubby again. In fact, I probably should.
But it's never going to be a movie that I watch over and over.
The A.V. Club did a whole Inventory list of good movies that were too brutal for them to want to watch again. http://www.avclub.com/articles/not-a...tch-twic,2048/
For this, I'll refer to a recent post of mine in the default thread on the topic of drinking an entire 1/5 of liquor:
next question:
As a young kid, you're right on: water, juice, milk. I guess my favorite juice would have been apple juice. I drank my fair share of grape and orange as well.
We used to have a juice extractor that my mom used to make carrot juice from, and i recall drinking a shitload of fresh carrot juice all the time
Tits McGee is how I've always known it.
As for the roller skating, this makes me want to camp even more. i may really need to make an effort to stay in the campsite at leats for one night now. I LOVE rollerskating. I learned on quads, having gone rollerskating a lot starting a young age at Moon Light Rollerway in Glendale, CA. I moved over to inline skates fairly quickly for street use, and actually playing outdoor street roller-hockey through TMCA leagues for over 10 years.

I think the question is reasonable to ask: There are movies that you recognize the value of, the technical quality of, etc., but you just don't have a desire to see again. Certain movies (and music and art, etc) require a certain mood.
I love One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, which is to say I thought it was well-written, well-acted and most certainly moving, but I really don't like watching depicitons of mental illness, electro-shock therapy and lobotomies, so I don't go back and watch it.
