What is better live Sasha & Digweed or Sasha solo?
also, who is the best EDM act of all time in your opinion?

djandrews, if you were allowed to bring a celebrity who died this year back to life, who would it be?
Solo, sasha definitely has put on better shows, but when the two of them are together, they seem to try to outdo eachother. Plus now when you see both on the same night is it a special set because they don't tour together anymore.
Daft Punk is by far the best edm show I have ever seen, I hope royksopp comes close.
kroqken either doesnt understand the rules of this thread or his jokes are way above my head.
This club would take place june 4th and be located on a remote beach/club venue in ibiza. The party would start at noon, and end with a six hour sasha and digweed set that starts right before sunrise.I will only list 5 live and 5 dj acts.
Live:
1. Daft Punk
2. Orbital
3. Underworld
4. Royksopp
5. Chemical Brothers
DJs
1. Sasha and Digweed
2. Carl Cox(tech house set)
3. Danny Teneglia
4. Dj Dan (funky house/disco house set)
5. Boys Noize
The first DJ that amazed me was DJ Dan. I must have been 17 or so, and his funky house mixed as perfectly as he does made me fucking move, as awkwardly as it may have looked. One time I watched him spin an entire track backward with his hand, whilest mixing into and out of other tracks. Perfectly on beat.
My Dearest Sasha Addict,
Since joining the current rave team at Coachella 2009, how do you feel the rave parties have changed in a positive way since your inception to the scene? Negative way? What do parties lack these days that you wish would come back? Anything you are glad has disappeared?
Is the scene going to die out within a few years, or do you feel there is a continuing market for these kind of events?
Do you prefer massives, undergrounds, or house parties?
What do you really think about Candee kids?
What is your number one raving essential? (besides fishing pole)
Do you think Dj's are losing the concept of what it means to play live, or creating a new edge to go along with the new scene?
Last but not least, who makes the best Pina Coladas in our group?

*steps up on stool, hands on hips* Listen here, big guy! His answer was excellent and well recieved by me. You worry about asking the superficial things you want to know and I'll take care of learning what's inside.*steps down off stool* Thanks again for your answer, Dr.Andrew!
Tell us about your prize possession. That one certain thing you know you can brag about...
I, uh...
Can't stop
laughing.
1. Run to a nice patch of grass on the fields and lay face down.
2. Tilt your head ninety degrees with your forehead temple resting on your forearm and watch people through the vision pocket right underneath your armpit hair.
3. Do this for a few hours until you get comfortable.
A Daft Punk thread containing 'nothing of substance'. How bout that.
Ken thinks he's on the "What's my Line Show."
I'm marking off June 4 on my calendar! Danny Tenaglia@ Coach was excellent. Danny Tenaglia at the SPIN Club in S.D. for a 4 hour marathon was even better!

If you were to set the US's immigration policy, what would it be?
Well, I am a firm believer that ANYONE should be able to become a citizen as long as they pay taxes, don't commit crime while here working for a few years, and go through all the proper procedures. I also feel that thoes that fail to properly become a citizen should be shipped back. In addition, i believe they should make penalties more strict for thoes that cant try to legally become a citizen.
I just finished reading this answer for like the third time afew moments ago....And, you may very well have given me the friendliest, most honest and straight-forward piece of advice or opinion that I've ever recieved on this message board. And I respect that...
Unfortunately... we were a little bit late trying that advice out because just prior to seeing your answer, I was reading the answers I had during my week of questions...I'm not saying I'd change any of my answers, but I certainly didn't need to be that open, now, did I? Geez....
So, tell us about one of your WTF was I thinking lessons in life...

1. The main difference between parties today and 10 years ago is mainly just the size and production. A huge massive 10 years ago would be lucky to have just one large laser. Today parties spend hundreds of thousands on lighting alone. Also, techno is popular to a much larger audience than it ever was. All that is good, but with that comes some bad. Parties i feel used to be more about the music. Today, someone could just barely like techno and just go take some acid and enjoy the visuals. In addition, even at the most friendly of parties i feel like the vibe still isnt quite there. What i dont miss are the E-puddles. There used to be a huge pile of crap that consisted of many ravers who couldnt do anything but lay down at the speakers. Fuck thoes people.
2. The scene will never die. I remember being a child of 16-17 and talking to ravers that were my age now, and hearing how far raves had come since their time. These parties seem like they will keep getting bigger and more technologically advanced as time goes on.
3. The ultimate party for me would be at a small club with about 200 of my closest friends, featuring djs that we could never afford. I enjoy a great club more than massives because of the age restriction and greater supervision which weeds out the douchebags. Although i always like a well thrown underground or house party.
4. Well, I dont consider you a candee kid if that is what you were wondering. Beautiful women dressed in scantily clad costumes are not candee kids. But to answer your question truthfully, they annoy the shit out of me. Thoes whistle blowing, stuffed animal backpack wearing, pink hair dying, kick dancing, ravers could have never existed and raves would be percieved much better by outsiders.
5. My great friends Molly and Gus.
6. Djs are constantly evolving and pushing the limits on what can be done, however it bothers me that some djs have no idea on the basics and people will still support them. I guess we can attribute that to a lack of taste or knowledge on the fans' part, but thoes who know what's up will always have respect for the hard way of djing.
7. Feather, you were the one who made me fall in love with them, and have also made the best tasting ones. <3
PS. Ifound a better tasting PC mixer.
I love all different kinds of music from many genres, The Beatles, Metallica, Tool, The Cure, Depeche Mode, NOFX, Bad Religion, Guttermouth, Beck, MJ, Guns N Roses, Alice in Chains, Bob Marley, The Roots, Bowie, The Doors, The Eagles, Gnarles Barkley, Grateful Dead, Gorillas, Foo Fighters, Johnny Cash, Jethro Tull, NIN, Mogwai, Lag Wagon, Pennywise, Pepper, Pearl Jam, Prince.... Just to name a few.
